I have taken the Christmas tree down, actually undecorated it back on Christmas day, but I left the tree up until last night when I took it down and put it away in polypropylene bags. The bags were actually 40 pound bags fro Old Roy dogs food that I had bought for the dogs, the bags were so nice and study I could not see throwing them out, and now I have found the use for them. Turned inside out they are just white polypropylene bags, so they made perfect bags to store the tree in without the wire branches poking through the bag like happened with the 39 gallon trash bags I used the past few years.
The living room was rearranged after the tree was taken down, so now my dad’s chair is closer to the TV and mine is further away – very nice since the TV has to be up so high for him to hear it. I was starting to think about getting me earplugs, but now the TV can be turned down a lot.
