Tis the season, and the tree has been decorated… mostly. I suppose it looks a little barren, but it’s still a pretty tree. All outdoorsy looking with red apples and poinsettia flowers adorning it, clusters of holly here and there and garlands made of drops of faux crystals suspended from brown thread so they seem to hang magically along from bough to bough.
I really should go all out with the outdoorsy theme and collect some woodland critters types of decorations from around the house to place in the boughs of the tree. Maybe a raccoon here and a cardinal there? I have a pair of squirrels out on the porch that I could add to it.
I seem to have lost the tree skirt along with the box of Christmas decorations. No idea where that went off too, it just seemed to have poofed somewhere in the basement. I’ll try to get a picture of the tree to share later on.
