Why can’t winter wait until after flu season?
I have not been getting a lot of yard work done toward getting ready for winter because I have been down with the flu for the past few days. Still feel lousy today, but I am trying to get some work done at least. I’m going to fiddle around inside, too dreary of a day to be working outside right now, looks like it can’t decide if it wants to rain or not.
Termination dust on the mountains looks a lot more like a full out assault on summer by old man winter. I did not have my camera with me when we went into town yesterday, but the peaks all across behind Palmer and stretching out toward Anchorage are covered in a white blanket that looks like it is threatening snow in the Valley by next week.
Time to get over the flu and get the yard ready for the snow to fall on it.
